A couple of gongs from London for Calabria Cabernet so I had to try it
Calabria in the Barossa were one of the hundreds who paid their money and took their chances in the big two London wine competitions last month. They didn't come home empty handed. The 2016 Three Bridges Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon got a 93 point Silver at the International Wine Challenge and an 86 point bronze at the Decanter Magazine show.
The different scores illustrates one thing. This points out of a hundred business is a very subjective measurement. To the Owl's taste this is not a typical Barossa red. Not a big enough taste for me but I'm sure many people will prefer this Calabria style. Around $25 a bottle and an Owl score of 86.
