A happy drinking GSM from Schwarz
One of the styles that make the Barossa the home of the reds that appeal most to the Owl's palate.
The maker, Jason Schwarz, blends fruit from central and northern Barossa Vineyards to produce this popular grenache-shiraz-mataro.
I found it very happy drinking and understand why some of the "experts" rate it highly. But the Owl puts an emphasis on value-for-money in his ratings and the $30 a bottle from Artisans of the Barossa means it earns an 86 out of 100.
To help you understand my scoring system, if the price was $20 it would rate as a 90.
