The Adelaide Hills produces yet another fine sauvignon blanc
Australian pubs sure have come a long way. In the public bar with the dogs on one screen and a footy replay on another what a pleasure it was to be able to spend $7 on a glass of Wicks Estate Sauvignon Blanc. Worth every cent of it.
Proof again that the wineries of the Adelaide Hills have learned how to handle this grape type. Young, well balanced and fruity. $17 at Dan's and well worth it. A well earned 85 on the Owl's scale.
